Outdoor fitness equipment has established itself as an integral part of leisure facilities in recent years. In addition, the system types/individual types are becoming more and more diverse. In order to ensure proper and safe game operation within the framework of the traffic safety obligation, these facilities must be checked regularly to ensure that they are safe for traffic and games.
Particular attention must be paid to all systems that are set up outdoors. It's not just wind, weather and vandalism that affect them. In order to prevent accidents and ensure safety, operators are obliged to have regular checks, maintenance and repair work as well as safety inspections carried out by competent and experienced people. Whoever puts a piece of fitness equipment on the market and makes it accessible to the public assumes extensive road safety obligations on a permanent basis. He must ensure that the respective fitness equipment meets the applicable standards and that regular checks, inspections and maintenance work are carried out on the facilities. Anyone who violates these obligations must expect consequences under civil and criminal law in the event of damage.
Attached are some excerpts from our test reports - here a sports field test. I have omitted the exact data, such as the exact location and address, for data protection reasons. For each tested piece of gaming or sports equipment (here soccer goals), there is a picture for the client for optimal assignment as well as a factual comment and on the right side according to the traffic light principle a classification/recommendation for action:
GREEN - everything ok!
YELLOW - urgently check and improve!
RED - imminent danger, immediate removal!
